Today we decided that we would take Buster for a walk at Capitol Lake. It was such a nice day that we thought he might enjoy it. However, Chip was not looking forward to getting ready and leaving the house. Clearly this is a difficult task when you wake up at 10:30AM and it is now noon. In protest to us leaving the house, Chip threw himself to the floor and decided to Occupy the Floor. While lying on the floor Chip sang protest songs. At this point in time, I thought “what is the best way to motivate my husband?” Then it came to me, how do the police motivate protestors? They beat them up! So I proceeded to poke Chip (some pokes were gentler than others) to motivate him to get off the floor. However, he is one tough fella and this method did not work very well. Therefore, I thought “What would the police do now?” Then it came to me “PEPPER SPRAY!” Yes, pepper spray would do the trick! Well seeing as though I do not keep pepper spray around the house, I grabbed some Bath and Body Works Body Spray. With my “pepper spray” in hand, I proceeded to spray my protester (don’t worry it didn’t get in his face, I’m not cruel!). While I sprayed Chip, I yelled “Roll over grandma!” Whereas Chip yelled (while laying in the fetal position) “I’m pregnant.” In the end, this whole event only lasted about 2 minutes, but it was hilarious!

Too much time on our hands...
Many people have told me that I need to have kids and that I have too much time on my hands.
What do you think? I think Buster looks handsome!

The 8 State Blitz
This is my very first post! Right now I am feeling very trendy and hip, since blogging is the new hip trend! So on Veterans Day, Chip concocted a great idea that we should drive through 8 states in 2 1/2 days. I didn't feel as though this would be a successful feet. However, I was trying to show him that Buster and I could be spontaneous. Therefore, we packed up our stuff and left our house at 2pm on Friday. Once we hit Lakewood, it was determined that I forgot to pack Buster's leash and poop bags. I failed as a mother. However, my husband forgot to pack long pants. Therefore he spent the whole trip in shorts, a T-shirt and a very thin hoodie. Yet, he was convinced that he would stay warm because he had his Sounders Scarf. Fail on Chip's part. Anyways, we were close to the pass when we heard about the Winter Weather Watch that was occurring. Chip was not worried, because it was not Thanksgiving yet. In his world, it only snows after Thanksgiving. So there we were, heading towards eastern Washington in a two door Honda Civic that can barely stay on the road in the rain. Luckily we made it through Washington safe and sound. However, Idaho was a different story. We arrived in Idaho at about 9:30pm, and about 30 minutes later it started to snow like crazy. But we are Walker's and we powered through. Okay, it actually rained until we were about 20 miles away from Montana, where it was snowing like a banshee. At this point in time I was holding onto Buster for dear life and picturing us walking along the highway at midnight because our car got stuck in the snow. The best aspect of my day dream was that Chip was walking along the freeway in his flip flops, shorts and hoodie. But good thing he had his scarf to keep him warm! At this point, we decided that it would be best to head home (6 miles away from Montana). So at this point our 8 State Blitz has ended. We then headed towards our 3 State Blitz and arrived home at 10am Saturday morning. Below are my favorite things from the 3 State Blitz:
- Stopping at a rest stop in Idaho. It was so cold that I had a hard time peeing because cold air was hitting my lady parts. I believe Chip and Buster were having the same issues as well but the boy version.
- Apparently I missed a sweet rock slide when I was sleeping.
- When I was sleeping I also missed a sweet raccoon standing by the side of the road.
- Buster tried to kill the guy pumping our gas in Oregon. I think Buster hates the gas law in Oregon too. Seriously, I can pump my own gas.
- Buster sitting on my lap and creepily staring at Chip for about 10 hours.
